at the Legacy Academy!

The Legacy Academy Activity Center in Fitchburg is available to help you celebrate your child's birthday party, holiday party, neighborhood party, family reunion, or other special event.  Our versatile air-conditioned indoor playground provides an ideal venue for such occasions.  There is so much to do at the academy that there will be no need for you to plan any organized party activities for the children.  Of course, a party at the academy will also save on a lot of wear & tear resulting from any parties otherwise held at your home.

Birthday party groups are provided with exclusive use of the entire 6,000 square foot indoor playground including its padded activity floors, Rainbow Castle Playset, jumping platform & landng pad, tire swing, swing sets, climbing ropes, rock climbing wall, climbing net, gymnastics tumbling mats, hoppity balls, jump ropes, recreational room, two large screen Nintendo Wii consoles, Lego play table,  adventure tunnel. regulation & kiddie basketball hoops, bean bag & ring tosses, and table games (e.g., air hockey, foosball, shuffle board, stick hockey, & pool  tables).  As such, the Legacy Academy provides an exceptional birthday party setting for children 1 to 12 years old.  You will find that the children will entertain themselves at our well equipped facility.

The entire Legacy Academy may be exclusively reserved for a two-hour period for a flat party fee of only $140 ($150 for parties occuring on or after Sept. 1, 2010) which includes a limited term academy membership.  A 50% down payment will reserve your preferred party time slot.  By providing your own invitations, decorations, party favors, balloons, cake, and other desired food or beverages you can save on the costs related to these other party expenditures.   (Upon request, we will provide you with Legacy Academy brochures to accompany your party invitations).   Many groups also have pizza delivered for their parties.  You may also bring your own CD's with your preferred music or just listen to a radio station of your choice for background music.  Refrigerators, freezers microwave ovens, cafeteria tables, and chairs are also available on-site at no additional charge.

Parties with up to 80 attendees may be accommodated at the academy. Adult relatives and/or nannies are required to supervise the children present. Birthday party time slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are currently available as per the following schedule.

Monday through Thursday:     6:15 pm – 8:15 pm or
                                                  6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Saturday and Sunday:           10:00 am - 12:00 noon (starting 4/24/10)
                                                12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
                                                  3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
                                                  5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
                                                  8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Another smaller scale and less expensive birthday party option seasonally available is to host your child's birthday party concurrently with a Youngsters Open Gym session which are seasonally held daily from 10:00 am to noon, including weekends (through the weekend of April 17 & 18, 2010).  The academy's study/movie room will be reserved for your group of up to 14 children and tables, which may be covered with your party tablecloths, are provided for seating.  The cost for this type of party is the same as for the open gym program, only $5.00 per child.  The main limitation of this party arrangement, other than the more restricted number of invitees, is that your group will be sharing use of the academy's indoor playground & recreation room with other families attending the concurrent Youngsters Open Gym session.
