at Legacy Academy's Indoor Playground!

The Legacy Academy Activity Center in Fitchburg is available to help you celebrate your child's birthday party, a holiday party, family reunion, or other special event. at an affordable price.  Our versatile indoor playground provides an ideal venue for such occasions.  There is so much to do at the academy that there will be no need for you to plan any organized party activities for the children.  Of course, a party hosted at the academy will also save wear & tear resulting from any parties otherwise held at your home.

Birthday party groups are provided with exclusive use of the entire 6,000 square foot indoor playground including its padded activity floors, Rainbow Castle Playset, jumping tower & landing pad, tire swing, swing sets with baby seats, climbing ropes, rock climbing wall, climbing net, gymnastics tumbling mats, hoppity balls, jump ropes, recreational rooms, two large screen Nintendo Wii consoles, Lego play table,  karate equipment, a Super Strike bowling alley, adventure tunnel, regulation & kiddie basketball hoops, playhouses, bean bag & ring tosses, and free table games (e.g., air hockey, foosball, shuffle board, Super Chexx bubble hockey, shuffle bowling, skeeball, ping pong, & pool  tables).  As such, the Legacy Academy provides an exceptional birthday party setting for children 1 to 12 years old.  We also host parties for teenager and church youth groups as well.  You will find that the children will entertain themselves at our well equipped facility.

Brewers, Packers, & Badgers Games at the Academy!  The Legacy Academy is also pleased to announce that it has acquired Direct TV satellite service so that partygoers can watch their favorite sporting events on our 58" Hitachi plasma color TV screen.  The Legacy staffperson on duty will turn on any Direct TV programming requested by the party hosts for their guests' viewing pleasure, including all Packer & Badger games, Milwaukee Brewer games, the NFL Playoffs & Super Bowl, NCAA basketball games, NASCAR races, etc.

The academy will comfortably hold up to 80 persons and party hosts are welcome to invite as many guests as they wish for their private party up to this capacity limit.  The party hosts and other selected adults are required to supervise the children present.  Birthday party time slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.  Our usual party scheduling is as follows:

Saturday and Sunday:              10:00 am - noon (seasonally available)
                                                  12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
                                                  3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
                                                  5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
                                                  8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Monday thru Thursday:           10:00 am (open gym parties, seasonally available)

                                                  6:00 pm, 6:15 pm, or 6:30 pm

Fridays:                                  10:00 am (open gym party, seasonally available)

                                                 6:00 pm, 6:15 pm, or 6:30 pm (when Parents Night Out sessions are not being held)

The academy's Parents Friday Night Out program is now offered on the first and third Friday evening of each month.  As a result, the academy is available for Birthday Parties on other Friday evenings each month with optional party starting times ranging between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm.

The entire Legacy Academy may be exclusively reserved for your group's private use for a standard two-hour period for a flat fee of $160. This party fee also includes a limited term academy membership.  For those who wish to host a longer party, three-hour parties starting at 5:30 pm on Saturday or Sunday may also be available.  The cost for a three-hour party is $240.  (Please note that weekend morning open gym sessions resumed for the winter season on November 5-6, 2011).

A 50% down payment is required to reserve a desired party time slot.  Party reservations can be made by calling us at (608) 270-9977 or by e-mail at Manager@LegacyAcademy.info.  Down payments with credit or debit cards may be remitted by telephone or via e-mail.  We will also accept a check or cash down payment.  The 50% remaining balance due of the party fee can then be paid on the day of the party.

Please note that when a good faith 50% down payment is paid the academy makes the reserved party slot unavailable to other interested families.  As a result, down payments are not refundable.  However, with a minimim of three weeks advance notice, a party can be rescheduled and the down payment will be reallocated to the new party slot.

By providing your own invitations, decorations, party favors, balloons, cake, and other desired food or beverages you can save on the costs related to these other party expenditures.   (Upon request, we will provide you with Legacy Academy brochures to accompany your party invitations).   Many groups also have pizza delivered for their parties.  You may also bring your own CD's with your preferred music or just listen to a radio station of your choice for background music.  Refrigerators, freezers microwave ovens, cafeteria tables, and chairs are also available on-site at no additional charge.

FYI, the Legacy Academy builds in a 30 minute transition period between private parties. During the transition period the departing party hosts finish cleaning up (with the aid of an academy staff person) and the hosts for the next scheduled party can start to set up.  Hence, party hosts may arrive a half-hour before their party is scheduled to begin but they should expect that some clean-up of the preceding party will also be occuring while they are setting up.  The academy staff have become quite efficient at "turning around" the academy between parties and ensuring it is timely ready for the next party group.

Another smaller scale birthday party option available is our "Open Gym Party" which enables you to host your child's birthday party during a Youngsters Open Gym session which are currently from 10:00 am to noon on weekdays.  The academy's study/movie room will table-seat a group of up to 14 children and has couch seating for an additional 9 persons.  The cost for this type of party is only $5.00 per child - - no room rental fee is imposed and no down payment is required.  This is a great party format for a small group though it does have the  limitation that your group will be sharing use of the academy's indoor playground & large recreation room with other families attending the concurrent Youngsters Open Gym session.  Please note that weekend morning "open gym" parties will continue to be available every weekend through April 14-15, 2012.

Weekday two-hour private party slots are also available on Monday through Thursday evenings.  These weeknight parties may start anytime from 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm.  FYI, weeknight parties at the academy are typically also well attended.  Kids seem to welcome the break from the usual school night routine and some guests who might otherwise be gone on a weekend trip will tend to be available to attend a weeknight party.
