Field Trips

The Legacy Academy's large indoor playground and recreation rooms  provide an ideal field trip play setting for youth groups such as school clubs, boy scouts, girl scouts, brownies, cub scouts, child care centers,  recreational camps, and church youth groups to utilize.  Play sessions typically last up to two hours and may be scheduled to occur on weekdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The academy can comfortably accommodate up to 80 persons at a time.

Visiting youth groups are expected to provide their own adult supervisory personnel while at the academy.  Playgroups may be sharing the facility with other visiting playgroups or children attending a concurrent open gym session.

The field trip admission fee is $5.00 per child.  Groups with ten or more children qualify for a discounted admission rate of $4.00 per child.   There is no charge for supervising adults.  The academy's indoor playground and game rooms are designed for use by youngsters from 1 to 12 years old.

Field trip visits to the academy during the school year can be arranged on weekdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and typically last up to two hours. To check on date & time availability for a field trip by your youth group, please contact us via e-mail at Manager@LegacyAcademy.info or by phone at (608) 270-9977.  The Legacy Academy is located at 2881 Commerce Park Drive in Fitchburg (two long blocks behind the AMC Star Cinema on County Hwy PD / McKee Road).
