Legacy Academy offers All Day Care on weekdays for students throughout the year. The program is for children ages 7 - 12. It is an affordable and fun part-time childcare option available for area families.
All Day Care Program Activities Include:

Drop Off / Pick Up Times
Children may be dropped off on weekdays anytime after 7:00 am and may be picked up anytime up to 6:00 pm.
Lunch / Snacks
Parents should plan to prepare a box or sack lunch for their attending children as well as any snacks they desire. Parents may also set up a snack account for their children's use if they so wish. Refrigerators, freezers, and microwave ovens are all available on site.

Tuition payments for All Day Care or After School Care will only be accepted with a credit/debit card kept confidentially on file.
Applicable payments due will then be processed on Monday, following each week of service.
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL
For Children 7 to 12 Years Old
Legacy Academy is providing an entertaining and enjoyable After School program for children attending the Stoner Prairie and Chavez elementary schools during the 2023 - 24 school year. Bus or van transportation will be made available from these schools. A Before School program is also available for Stoner Prairie students on their "late start" Mondays.

Before School Program
Youngsters participating in the Before School program on "late start" Mondays can be dropped off at the Academy as early as 7:00 am. The Legacy staff will transport them to the Stoner Prairie school via bus or van in time for Monday classes starting at 10:15 am.
While at the academy, the children can use the academy's gymnastics tumbling equipment, indoor playground equipment, table games, arcade games, and the student computers on site. We will also show optional movies to the children weekly. Youngsters are encouraged to read and study during a portion of their time at the academy.
Transportation
Stoner Prairie Elementary School in Verona
The Before School program is offered only on "late start" Mondays to students attending the Stoner Prairie school.

The After School program is offered on weekdays throughout the school year. The children attending the After School program will be treated to two snacks daily. Parents may also set up a snack account for their participating children. Refrigerators, freezers, and microwave ovens are available at the academy.
Transportation
Stoner Prairie Elementary School (Verona)
Badger Bus transports the students to the Academy following the end of each school day.
Chavez Elementary School (Madison)
The academy staff will provide bus or van transportation following the end of each school day.
Other Area Schools
Students attending other area schools are welcome to attend the After School program. However, parents must make their own transport arrangements from their children's school to the Academy.

Available at the Academy's front desk or via email. No registration fee is assessed for the After School program, and no long-term contract is required. Please phone or email Tom Baggot with any questions.

SUMMER CAMP
Seasonal fun for your kids
Legacy Academy offers a Summer Camp all-day care program on weekdays for students that starts in early June and operates until early September. It is an affordable and fun part-time childcare option available for area families. The summer camp is primarily for children 7-12 years old though state law does permit up to three youngsters 5 or 6 years old to also participate at any one time.
The Legacy summer camp program in 2026 will also include optional field trips twice each week to area parks, the zoo, attractions, pools, farms, bowling alleys, movie theaters, as well as venues in Lake Geneva, Spring Green, and Wis. Dells. These field trips will commence during the week of June 14, 2026.
Families who do not wish to have their children take summer camp field trips can have them remain at the academy. The daily tuition for all-day care at the academy will continue to be $35.00 per child while the weekly rate will remain $150.00 for one child or $250.00 for 2+ siblings.
