Great Fun for Children of All Ages!
For a unique and memorable birthday party, invite your guests to Legacy Academy! The Legacy Academy Activity Center in Fitchburg is available to help you make this birthday party your child's best ever! Other events such as baby showers, holiday parties, family reunions, sports team parties, and other special occasions can all be celebrated in style.
Why host a party at the academy's indoor playground? Most of the parties held here are private parties where the host rents out the first floor, the second floor, or both floors (an "All Access" party). Hence, the only persons attending your party are the classmates, friends, and relatives you invite. You can also bring in whatever food & beverges you like (about 90% of the parties have pizza delivered in, for example). You can also decorate with tablecloths, a Happy Birthday banner, balloons, and streamers if you wish (but please, no confetti). The flat rate party pricing is intended to be affordable for most families.
If you desire a weekend party time slot that is no longer available then instead consider hosting a weeknight party. Weeknight parties can start as early as 5:30 pm so they're done by 7:30 pm enabling most invited local children to still make their bedtimes. Also, many families travel on the weekends so attending a weeknight party can be more convenient for them. Finally, a party held on a weeknight will then leave your family's weekend free for other activities.

FIRST FLOOR PARTY
This space is for kids aged from toddlers to 12 and fits up to 80 people. Hosts can invite as many guests up to this capacity limit. The party hosts and other selected adults are responsible for supervising the attending children.

50% deposit due upon reserving.
Three-hour parties may also generally be booked for the last party slots scheduled on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
SECOND FLOOR PARTY
KIDS WONDERLAND
This area is mainly designed for children from tots to age 5 and will accommodate up to 40 people. The party hosts and other selected adults are required to supervise the children present.

• A merry-go-round
• A playset with a slide & tire swing

• Several table games and arcade games (always set on free play)
• It also now includes games such as skeeball.

• A TV equipped with the DirectTV sports package is also available for adults to watch any games of interest.

ALL ACCESS PARTY
(Includes use of first and second floors)
This space is for kids aged from toddlers to 12 years old. The Second Floor is for tots to 5 years old and can hold up to 120 people. Party hosts can invite as many guests as possible within the capacity limit. The party hosts and other selected adults must supervise the children.
Full Access to both floors for your party and all of their combined play equipment and games.
Price
• Two-hour Private Party - $275
50% deposit due upon reserving.
Bookings of All Access parties are subject to the availability of both floors during the desired time slot. Three-hour All Access Parties may also generally be booked for the last party slots scheduled on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
open Gym Party
Looking for an affordable semi-private party option for your small group? Open gym parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9-11 am! Our semi-private first-floor TV room can be reserved for birthday parties and accommodates up to 16 children.
If you host an open gym birthday party, you can bring your own food and beverages and decorate the TV room. Remember that party guests will share the facility with other Youngsters Open Gym session attendees that day. Still, both floors of the academy will be accessible to your group.
Price
• Open Gym Party - $7.00 per child.
A nominal $25.00 good faith down payment is required to book an open gym party and this sum will be credited to the party host on the day of the party.

YOUR PREFERRED WEEKEND ISN’T AVAILABLE?
BOOK A WEEKNIGHT!
Legacy’s parties hosted Monday through Thursday are often better attended than weekend parties.
While some families travel on weekends, they are usually at home on school or work nights, so early evening weeknight parties are usually convenient for them to attend.
Parents may elect to have a weeknight party start as early as 5:30 pm so invited children can still make it home in time for their usual bedtimes. Also, if you host your party on a weeknight, your weekend will remain free for other activities!
PARTY CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% good faith down payment is required to reserve a desired private birthday party time slot. This down payment is not refundable. Party hosts also remain obligated to pay the 50% balance remaining due even if they should decide not to host the party for some reason.
The Legacy Academy relies heavily on birthday party rentals to pay its bills and has only a limited number of private birthday party time slots available. And once a certain private party slot has been booked, the academy no longer can make it available for other interested families. As a result, we advise our customers to only reserve a party slot once they are sure they are prepared to host and pay for the party.
The Legacy Academy does allow reserved party slots to be rescheduled to a different date & time provided that a minimum of three weeks' advance notice is given. The three-week notice period is intended to give the academy a reasonable chance to re-book the customer's original party time slot to another family. The customer's down payment will then be reallocated to the new party slot..
PARTY TRANSITION PERIODS
The Legacy Academy builds in a 60-minute clean-up period between parties. Hosts may arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled starting time of their party to set up and are expected to vacate the building within 30 minutes following the scheduled end of their party.
Party Food & Beverages
Most youth birthday party venues require that party hosts purchase food & beverages from that venue. Not so at Legacy Academy! Bring whatever food & beverages you desire.
For example, 90% of private birthday parties held at the academy have pizza delivered from the host’s favorite pizzeria. We also have refrigerators, freezers, and microwave ovens available on both floors for your convenience.
Party Decorations
Party hosts are welcome to display a Happy Birthday banner, balloons, and streamers (but please, no confetti).
Many hosts purchase plastic tablecloths for the tables set up on each floor of the academy. They can be purchased for about $1.25 each, add a nice decorative touch, and also make cleanup after the party a breeze.
Do It Yourself and Save!
By providing your own invitations, decorations, tablecloths, party favors, balloons, cake, and your desired food or beverages, you can save on the costs related to these other party expenditures. (Upon request, we will provide you with Legacy Academy brochures to accompany your party invitations).
You may also bring your own CD’s with your preferred music, or just listen to a radio station of your choice for background music. Refrigerators, freezers, microwave ovens, cafeteria tables, and chairs are also available on-site at no additional charge.
Create a Theme for Your Party
Mexican Fiesta Theme
The academy has had many families hang a piñata for their children’s birthday celebrations. Just let us know if you should wish to do so, and we’ll be glad to help you display a piñata during your private party. We have some piñata hanging options available to accommodate pre-school and elementary school-aged kids. We do ask that party hosts assist with a pinata cleanup.
Star Wars Theme
For families wishing to have a “Star Wars” theme for their private party, we are glad to make our large collection of lightsabers available for their children’s use upon request at no additional charge. These lightsabers come in various colors and are particularly fun for the kids when the lights are turned off. We also have Star Wars music CDs that you are welcome to play on our Bose CD/Radio player during your party.
Disco Theme
We’ve got the lights and music to create the ultimate dance party! *Not available for 2nd Floor Parties.
Brewers, Packers, and Badgers Games at the Academy!
The Legacy Academy also has a Direct TV satellite service, so party-goers can watch their favorite sporting events.
OPEN GYM
Preschoolers and other pre-teen children will enjoy our comfortable 8,000 square foot indoor facility including its padded floors, Castle & Treehouse Playsets, jumping platforms & landing pits, swing sets, and soft sculptured play figures. They will also entertain themselves with our numerous table games and arcade games (always set on free play). Youngsters Open Gym hours are available to the public on a daily basis.
Weekday Open Gym Hours are from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm while weekend hours are from 9:00 am to 11:00 am every Saturday & Sunday morning. The admission fee of $7.50 per child covers a play session of up to two hours following arrival.
Field Trips TO LEGACY ACADEMY
The Legacy Academy's large indoor playground provides an ideal field trip play setting for youth groups such as elementary school classes, school clubs, boy & girl scouts, child care centers, summer camps, and church youth groups to enjoy. The academy's indoor playground is designed for use by children from toddlers up to 12 years old and can accommodate up to 60 youngsters for a field trip outing. The admission fee for a two-hour field trip play visit is $6.50 per child for groups of 10+ children.
Field Trip adult chaperones are expected to supervise their children in attendance. Legacy Academy staff will also assist with the supervision of children with a field trip group.
Field Trip groups may bring their own snacks or lunches and have an additional half-hour to enjoy them at the acdaemy. Indoor cafeteria tables and outdoor picnic tables are located on site as well as refrigerators, freezers, and microwave ovens.
Scheduling
Field Trip visits to the academy are scheduled to occur on weekdays
from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and last up to 2.5 hours.
Visiting youth groups are expected to provide their own adult supervisory personnel while at the academy. There is no admission fee for supervising adults.
Playgroups may share the facility with other visiting playgroups or children attending a concurrent scheduled Youngsters Open Gym session. Check the Legacy News section website to check on any incoming field trip visits that have already been booked.
